My wife and I had taken out pizza a few times before and it is a solid pizza. The place looked nice and clean when I picked up before. I convinced my wife that we should eat in sometime. Yesterday was the day. Overall a nice experience. We had a salad that was excellent and fresh. Meatball appetizer that was really good. Best meatballs and marinara I have had in a long time. Meat lovers pizza was satisfying. My wife and I have been looking for a place to go and sit and have a pizza and a couple of drinks. Where the pizza is hot at the table rather than take out. Well Villa Nova is in the top Two for us in the area. Thanks

This place is amazing! The atmosphere is really nice, the employees are so kind and one of the owners John is a sweetheart! You can definitely tell he cares about his employees, and his establishment. I've had my fair share of margherita pizzas, and they've never really sat well with me. First time coming here and was ecstatic to see that this place makes margherita pizzas, let me tell you, this was the best margherita pizza I've ever had and I've tried a lot. The crust was perfect, wasn't burnt, there was not an overwhelming amount of garlic, the tomatoes were diced perfectly, you guys need to try it. I can only write so much to do it justice, get out here and try this. I will definitely be coming back for another margherita pizza. 10/10

Sadly gone downhill since they moved i was told 30 minutes for a 16inch got there waited 15. Mins before i got help he then said 10 mins n disappearex 22 mins later still no pizza then i get served sloppy trash, not too mention kids eating pizza in the back over everyone elses food and slapping eachpther in the back with flour wont be back as a custome thats for sure

This is what a family owned business should feel like. I was lucky enough to visit last night while they hosted the Miracles For Mya fundraiser. With a packed house, they still didn't skip a beat. Owners and servers alike ran the floor nonstop, catering to their guests. The meat lovers' pizza is not to be missed and the Old Fashioned that they mixed for me was easily one of the best that I've ever had. Great food, a lively environment and a plenty of laughs. If you have the chance to visit, take advantage.

I grew up with the Original Villa Nova in Stickney. Always consistent, always delicious 🤤! There’s a standard to be met. I ate at the Lockport location in March. The garlic bread was horrible. The pizza was amazing. It tasted a lot like the original. Everyone was pleased with the pizza. I went back yesterday and had high expectations. I was extremely disappointed. The pizza was nothing like it was the first time. The crust was super thin, so I have to correct myself. One thing was the same. The sauce tasted sour, the sausage had a completely different flavor than the original. I ate a couple pieces. I took most of the pie home. After telling the family my disappointment, I can’t get anyone to eat it. (I did try a small piece today to be fair. Disgusting 🤢.) Looks like it’s going in the trash. I love the idea of a Villa Nova being closer. Unfortunately with the inconsistency I don’t want to go back and waste my hard earned money. The disappointment was crushing too. 😕. So for now, my tasty memories of the Original Villa Nova will have to do. No financial cost or disappointment.
